Passafist: Don't get too beat down about the iTunes stuff. I sympathize with you about the real-life problems and hope they all work out, but don't let the stuff on iTunes compound it.
It was a stupid comment, anyhow. If they think you're just filling time with the music, they're dumb- it's not like you have a time-quota on the podcast.
As for the tangents, don't stress about them. They're fun. And if Angie really wants to see whether the podcast reflects the community, maybe she should READ THE POSTS.

By all means, take your time. I absolutly garantee that no one here or any of your listeners would get upset if you even took the week off. If you have personal things to take care of, who would we be if we were to be upset that you fixed your own problems, instead of working on the pod cast. We would all be the kind of people who just don't get you, but we do.
You can't please all the people all of the time.
Everyone is different, I bet we who love your podcasts all have different reasons for listening as well. Some people just won't dig it. It happens, it sucks, but it does. I have absolutely no need for an i-tunes account, but I wish I had one so I could write you a review that actually matters.
Remember even bad publicity is still publicity. There have been a few times where I have read the review for something and it said it was awful, And I thought to myself "Could it really be that Bad?" So I judged for myself. Some thing's are indeed crap and some thing's are just a diamond in the rough. Yours is the later and the community would not be the same without it.
Do what you gotta do and don't let it drag you down man, Were here for ya.
Doug, What would I do without your podcasts... well I would have to actually eat my lunch during my lunch hour instead of giggling right thru it. You and Steve work hard and it does shows.
Life throws stupid people in your way all the time. The idea is to learn when to duck.
BTW: Happy Belated Birthday, Kimber! Thank you Maven but you aren't late yet my birthday is Friday the 18th but I am grateful you remembered.

Sorry to hear about all that's going on. Hope your family situations get resolved soon. I know those kinds of problems effect every aspect of life. As you can already tell by the comments- we don't really care what itunes or anyone else says, we really like the podcasts you guys do. You guys do a great job! And frankly when you've quoted that girl from itunes before, I didn't give a rip what she said anyway, because her assessment was completely off in my opinion. So I hope you don't let yourself care about what she thinks. Anyway, you guys are great!!
Passafist: You take the time you need; the podcast is way less important than what may be going on in your life. For what it's worth, I'm praying for you. Trust in the Lord for strength.

This has been running around in my head for awhile and I was wondering if anyone else has thought of this? Could Jacob be an anagram like Dharma is. I have no idea what J.A.C.O.B. could stand for but it was just a thought.

Wow, Passafist & Goog, hope everything's OK. I really enjoy the podcasts every week!! Can't believe anyone has a problem with them..
sayid'sgirl, funny, but I was at one time trying to figure out J.A.C.O.B. as an anagram (before TMBTC). At the time I was thinking of Mittelos as a conglomerate of guys in cahoots and was trying to plug in names like Cooper, Christian, etc. It could be Jack and Claire's Other Brother:)

Oh, I forgot to add that I got two Lost books (not for our bookclub) from my DD for Mother's Day... "The Lost Chronicles" with a bonus DVD and "Finding Lost" (the unofficial guide) by Nikki Stafford.
I started to read the second one and I'm finding it interesting since I didn't discuss or blog about Lost until TLE.
I guess everybody's gone to bed..
