OMG could i be first.
i am going to buy a lottery ticket, can anyone guess what my numbers will be????
Happy lost day!
Just another reminder -- it's an extra long episode tonight in case you are recording. My guide says 6 minutes past the hour.
Oh, Happy Lost Day!
Thanks for that reminder, Memphish (I think my DVR actually automatically does those extra minutes that most shows do now...but I will watch it closely!)
BTW: There was a very nice article in the LA Times this morning about a certain actor on Lost...I think mentioning the name might be a spoiler...so I'll leave it at that.
OT: Thanks for the Joel and friends link Melissa, I didn't know about that! I hope that the two groups doing their own thing are still friends. For anyone who is a big Mistie, check out the 20th anniversary edition DVD on Amazon that comes with a Crow T. Robot miniature statuette. I gave it to myself for my birthday last year. :-)
OK, back on topic. I wonder if this extended episode going to be taken up by another 5 minute preview of Life On Mars like the last time, that leaves us with not really more Lost time at all? :-p
As it is, I think the commercials total about 22 minutes in a regular hour! That's only about 40 minutes of actual LOST! :(
Is it all going to be Locke's journey back to the mainland as the promos implied? Or might we actually get to keep going from Jack's encounter with Jin - because that looked a lot more interesting to me. . .
Yeah, or even less then 40 minutes by my VCR's counter most of the time.
I think the episode tonight (Sunday for me) will be Lockes journey off, and then back to, the island.
I'm fairly confident that they will show Jin meeting with Jack Kate and Hurley to next week.
Congratulations to Steve and family.Great podcast,as usual guys.
This is the one I've been dreading ever since they showed us who was in the casket. . . Do you suppose I'll ever catch back up if I skip this one?
lost2010
I'm sure you can get the cliff note's version here.
What is it that you're dreading about it?
OK blogger's gone wonky.
It wouldn't let me delete without signing in with a google account.
Now my trash can is gone. If it comes back I'll delete my double post.
Happy Lost Day!!!!
Happy LOST Day!
Thanks for the reminder memphish on the time. And maven you have my curiosity up so much I'm going to have to go hunt down that LA Times article.
Hey, everyone -
There are a couple of new interviews up at Spoiler Fixed
Beware - if you DO NOT want to know about tonight's guest stars, wait until to tomorrow to check these out!
Well I just read that LA Times article (which was very nice BTW) and so I know at least some of what must be in there Melissa. It's got me really excited (of course its doesn't take much to get me excited about LOST)!!
Side note- I just got back from getting my haircut (and it's a little too short if you ask me) and my haircutter and I were talking about LOST because she calls herself a fan. It's just really hard to talk to anyone about the show when they aren't as committed as we are. You really have to take it down a level or two. Which is why I'm so thankful for you crazies! :)
Scoutpost: You can see why I was hesitant about revealing too much about that article! Guest stars could be considered spoilers!
And I know what you mean about the casual viewers. I'm stunned when they don't even know the names of characters...but I try desperately not to get too exasperated! LOL
Heheh, that is so the truth Scoutpost. :o) It's kind of like a "tier" system of being a Lost fan, from least to most commitment levels. Of course, we are at the top of the pyramid, heheh. Like Fenris has on his latest bullets post, if you're not confused, you're not paying attention (or something like that).
Hey LoCos, does any one know what has happened to Dennis' FringeTelevision blog????? I've tried to go to all of the main pages today, and they all end up either not being found, or at the generic domain name page. I can still however, get to the Fringepeida site, as that is on a ".net" domain, while the others were on a ".com" domain. I'd send Dennis an email, but the address on his profile is under the "fringetelevision.com" address, so I guess it wouldn't get to him anymore. Has anyone heard from him lately? Maybe he's just changing everything to the ".net" domain??? Boohoo, I really love following his Fringe sites! And I can't do my Fringe blog without them!
:-(
BTW, I hope that everyone who partakes has a blessed Lenten season, starting today. xo
Capcom: No, I have not seen him around lately. Hope nothing is wrong. And that's strange about the Fringe blog. The only email address I have for him is at lostargs.
I have not heard from Dennis in ages. I feel like I've kind of taken over the shop here and at Spoiler Fixed (not that I mind, of course!). Looks like he has updated his facebook page recently, so at least we can assume he's still alive.
Dennis, if you're out there, we miss you!
capcom
I have an email address for Dennis where he was helping me with a computer problem.
I'll send it to you in a message at myspace. I don't feel right postng it.
Okiedoke Sayidsgirl. :-) Hope he's OK.
I messaged him on FB.
So who's watching the pop-ups tonight? I'd like to see if when Jack asks Mrs. H if Ben is telling the truth that the pop-ups confirm Ben is indeed lying. Same when he says his mother taught him to read.
Hi all!
I here for the evening (between dinner and trying to get everyone quiet and settled so I can get my Lost on!)
Hope everyone's well...it has been awhile since I've seen Dennis post. I've been so distracted lately that I haven't checked his Fringe blog since re-runs started.
xxoo
hey, all!
there was a pop-up about the island can't be seen by a fly-by or satellite, I think.. but I missed the one about the military..
Do the pop-ups get published on Lostpedia the next day?
ps.. I've been staying away because I went ahead and saw some spoilers for this week and I didn't want to accidentally say something
Black Swan
It said they knew the island existed from U.S. Military photos.
And old ships ledgers like from the Black Rock. (not an exact quote)
Thanks sayid'sgirl!
Jack is our proxy to believe.. we all have to take that leap of faith from now on... lol!
science in the basement, faith upstairs in the church.. from pop=ups
Lostpedia does transcript the pop-ups, but it might not be the next day. So DI learned about the Island from the military. How did the military find it?
Eek - when Ben said he had to keep a promise to an old friend, the pop-up mentioned that he told Widmore he would kill Penny.
memphish
I was wondering the same thing.
Thanks, memphish, for the Lostpedia info..
Oh, cool! Alvar Hanso was an arms dealer, wasn't he?
I noticed that too, melissa.
Big dog, good luck with the lotto, you and 11 million people will be happy to get your dollar back if the numbers come up... lol
hmm, double post, sorry
Okay, everybody get comfortable - NEW POST!!
email...
xxoo
