Do we think she started out as a research assistant a la the new one? I'd guess so. It was hard to tell if th ex-husband was supposed to be much older than Juliet, maybe a professor to her student? They looked about the same age.
Then she has "history" with boss-Ben.
So first she's attracted to the men in power, but the really weird thing is she keeps working for them! Is it them, the work? What hold do these boss-men who she has "history" with have over Juliet?
To that end, she shouldn't be attracted to Jack (yes that again) because he certainly has no power right now. He's about as far as you can get from the boss in Others-land, though he was the boss back in Lostie-ville.
Chris from the LostChicks podcast also made a good observation about Juliet. She is an Other, so she crossed in the real world with another Other, Ethan whereas our Losties have crossed with other Losties.

I just listened to the ABC podcast. There were no significant revelations as far as I'm concerned. As usual, more joking around than anything.
TPTB did confirm, though, that the anagram we were all supposed to be looking for was indeed Mittelos = Lost Time.
They joked that the phrase could refer to the time spent listening to their podcast!

i just think it's funny that they used "mittelos" on the show for an anagram for "lost time", but we're not supposed to link "mittelos" with "Mittelwerk".
Other thing with Mittelos, "Time slot" like don't forget we changed time slots.

I'm listening to the LostCasts podcast and heard them discussing the bus and they brought up Michael getting hit my the car in one of his flashbacks. I'd forgotten about that. Those scenes were pretty paralell. They'd both been on the phone just before they were hit as well.
yeah memphish, that is a good one and it's true. So what do you think about 'Lost Time'? The first thing that comes to mind is being abducted by alients.
memphish, i thought about michael being hit by a car last night and was comparing it to jules ex getting hit by the bus. I couldn't draw any parallels other than bad luck.
jgz350, isn't there also the lurking nature of the vehicle? The bus was waiting in the background, and I know there's been a lot of talk about the car that hit Michael showing up over and over.
Yes you are right, the car that hit Michael was seen in other episodes of Lost. I remember reading that somewhere. I will have to rewatch that scene to see if I can see the bus waiting in the background, but that's an interesting insight about lurking.
that's the most common thing associated, but i hardly believe that the show will be remotely associated with aliens.
just my opinion.

if this is the case, I think that it will help a theory i had before that these people were INDEED brought there intentionally. The breakup of the plane was unforeseen, but they WERE supposed to have been (somehow) all brought together and to the island.
Don't forget, sometime this past year, we saw the DHARMA logo on the plane wreckage.

just dropping in to let you know I'm still alive and kickin'; well maybe not kickin'; it's been a really rough month or so and I hope to be back with you very soon.
I haven't been able to keep up with the conversations and I doubt I'll get caught up. I do have to say that I was disappointed with the introduction of TIME TRAVEL. Although it could eventually explain the way that time passes on the island I find it to be a cop out. We are much more sophisticated than that... I just hope there sill be more "possible" science to go with the time travel theory.
