There are some people mentioned in the episode preview that are no longer alive. That's well and good, since flashbacks drive the show. However, two of the dead people in question come from very different storylines. Are we going to see an Other flashback? Or are we going to see some disturbing pre-flight connections between Losties and Others?

Scoutpost said...

Hey all- been away for a while trying to catch up on housework I neglected during TLE (shame on me).
Anyway- Sean- everybody else answered, but yes the TV guide said...

****SPOILER****

Desmond is found naked post-hatch, so I'm assuming the explosion blew his clothes off.

*****END SPOILER******

Regarding flashbacks of the Others-
TV Guide doesn't mention flashback per se, but does say that we are going to learn some past things about Fenry. Again I won't say more to keep from being spoilerish.

Lastly, hey jgz350! and Maven- my son is almost 5years old, he is my one with autism, so he has recently learned to spell his name and likes to write it and type it, etc. I was going to delete it, but while I was typing that post he kept coming back to see if his name was still there, so it stayed!

Scoutpost said...

jgz350- interesting article at:
http://www.ibabuzz.com/unscripted/

Last season (or maybe season 1 can't remember) Crimsonrabbit over on the Fuselage wrote a whole theory based on the Watchmen. It's kind of long and detailed, especially if you've never read the graphic novel, but in light of this article, may be an interesting read. I found it very interesting and frankly it was one of my favorite theories. If you're interested, go to the Fuselage, I think you can type in search, theories, and then type in the Watchmen. Something like that, I have to go again for a while, so if there's a problem, I'll try to figure out how to find it when I get back.

Thanks for that "Inside The Bay Area" link, that was an interesting article.

My favorite part of it was, "We aren't going to be like 'The X-Files,' where nothing is really solved," Burk says..."

Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo! Nice to know that they think that Lost fans deserve more than that.

Got snacks, got tapes, all caught up with my LOST viewing...I'm ready for S3 of LOST

What? 24 hours? it's gonna be a loooooooooong Tuesday

Hey Guys - One Day to go.....

Did anyone listen to the LostCasts SkypeCast? I tried to listen in the car on the way to work but the audio was just too bad so I gave up which is a shame as it was a nice idea I just think Skype wasn't up to it.

Can anyone remember was it Passafist who came up with the idea of doing a TLC podcast with us all contributing? I thought it was a good idea but no-one seemed to pick it up.

Passafist said...

Sure I'd like to try that podcast idea! So I'll throw it out there Wednesday after the premiere, send me an audio MP3 of your comments on the episode to passafistwastaken@gmail.com. I'll see how many I get and throw together a short podcast! If it works maybe we can try it again!! Maybe then we can begin to riff off other comments and ideas! Your comments can be about the show! About comments on the TLC? or Whatever! I'm not going to set a time limit, but keep them short, 1-3 minutes or so. I guess for those who have no access to creating MP3's you could also e-mail me. But I have the right to edit any comments for content (objectionable or extraneous). Let's try it once and see what happens!! WORD UP!

Chris Procter said...

Hi Passafist

I'll definately send you an MP3 now I've got Audacity on my laptop. I'd liked to try and see the episode first which I'll need to torrent as I'm in the UK . What do you want to set as a deadline for submissions (and what time zone are you in)? If I can watch the episode before the deadline I will otherwise I'll read the episode transcript.

Looking forward to getting on air again :)

Passafist said...

I guess I'd probably put the thing together on friday, with an internet post for it of Saturday Morning?!?

So I'll give everybody Wednesday and Thursday to Collect MP3's. I want to make this first episode very simple Just too see if it will work, then I'll get more complicated as time goes by. I've never produced a podcast before (but I do produce a National Radio Program) so it should be pretty easy!

Passafist said...

Oh I'm Eastern Standard Time!

Chris Procter said...

Cool - Hopefully I'll be able to watch Lost on the Thursday and can record the MP3, Luckily I'm 5 hours ahead (I think) so the time difference should work in my favour. What the latest time for getting the MP3 across to you?

Passafist said...

Let's say 12 noon est!

Chris Procter said...

That's fine - I'll do the MP3 on Thursday then, whether I've seen the episode or not and get it across to you.

I'd love to hear a podcast from people's comments here. Good idea!

I listened to the Skypecast yesterday and it was really glichy. Anyway... I got a kick out of them reading the entertainment weekly pull-out book since I had mentioned it here. Also, that they couldn't think of the name of the Glen Miller song on the beach. I believe it is Moonlight Serenade and not Midnight Serenade.

Passafist said...

Is their a link to this Skypecast??

Chris Procter said...

Hi Guys,

Just checking back in, the Lostcasts website is www.Lostcasts.com there is some footage of the Season 3 premiere taken by Ryan of the Transmission on their site. There is a link for the skypecast HERE

It was actually through a link on Lostcasts that I found the TLE and if you haven't heard this podcast it's well worth a listen.

jgz350 - thanks for those Lost article links. Fun to read that stuff. I wondered what exactly happened to Gary Troup and now I know.

Hi JGZ350,

Just had a look at TLEC - I see Thrasher76 has the final comment which seems fitting.

Did everyone see that the Hanso Exposed site has changed again? You no longer log in. And, now if you click on the "new to this" link you get a recap of game.

http://stophanso.rachelblake.com/recap.html

If this has been discussed, I missed it.

maven said...

Morning:

Passafist: The Podcast sounds awesome. Now that I'm an "expert" on recording to mp3...I just might send you one!

Joann: Yeah, the site did change, but I think that recap was up since after ComicCon (when TPTB were thinking a lot of people might be interested in playing catchup after seeing Rachel at ComicCon.) It was just in a different place on her blog. Notice it's really not an uptodate recap.

You guys think today is going to be slow...wait until tomorrow...the wait until 9PM is going to be excrutiating! LOL

Ange said...

The anticipation...SHEESH. Also, hi everyone!

JoAnn said...

thanks maven... I see now that recap only goes to July 21. I don't remember the link from the Hanso Exposed site to the recap but maybe it is just the new way the Hanso Exposed site is layed out now that drew my attention and I clicked on it.

Chris Procter said...

I wish it was 9pm for me! I'll try and start downloading the episode at 6am when I get up (I think that's about midnight central)and watch it Thursday night. So another 48 hours for me at least.

Mind you officially it isn't meant to air in the UK until April next year!

Just dropping by to say Hi y'all! I've been avoiding the boards this week so as to stay spoiler-free, but I hope to have something to say after the premiere airs and the conversation shifts away from spoilers.

Who am I kidding, I ALWAYS seem to have something to say.

And love the idea of a podcast Passafist! I'll try to send you something.

Tess315 said...

Hey All
First off I try to advoid spoilers if I can but I get some people love them which is cool, anytime I see the word spoiler I start scrolling :)

Some of your have said something about possible "others" flashbacks. It seems that I heard or read somewhere that there were going to be flashback for them.

Also some of you said something about some of the others being on the plane. I have always been suspicious of Cindy the flight attendant. I mean disappearing so quickly and quietly just as the two camps were about to join up.

Tess315 said...

Sorry about the typing errors. I shouldn't type and watch tv at the same time. I promise to do better. :)

CattyGirl said...

Excited to see that the first official podcast has been posted at abc.com.

Scoutpost said...

Hey everybody! Hey FYSB! I'm sure spoiler talk will slow down a bit after we all have something to talk about. Right now we have nothing to do but speculate.

Passafist- I think the podcast idea is great. I need to get a new microphone for the computer- my apparently doesn't work, which is why I didn't record anything for the TLEC podcast. We tried everything.

I know I can't wait for tomorrow night- although I know if I can make it through today I will be ok- I have a busy day tomorrow, so I know it will go by super fast.
Dark Angel and Inenglandlost- glad you guys are going to be able to keep up with the US schedule- what a total bummer if you had to wait until next spring!

Scoutpost said...

Hey jgz350- we're going to one. I would host, but our friends have large flat screen tv's and tivo, so we can't compete with that! Plus, it get's us out of the house so the kids aren't a distraction. The only thing is my hubby and friends aren't into LOST like us TLCer's are. They merely watch the episodes weekly. What slackers! So I have to come here to discuss.

In case anyone was more interested in the Watchmen theory that was mentioned in a couple of the articles from yesterday- here's the thread on it from the Fuselage-pretty interesting and something to pass time on:
Watchmen Theory

Hey, everyone:
Scoutpost: Thanks for the Watchman link. I have read a little about the connections, and will read this full analysis.

I know it's tough on the UK and AUS people...I plan to get off this site when the eastcoast starts (6pm pdt) and not come back on until us westcoasters are done! I don't have any kids at home to worry about...just a hubby that is flabberghasted about this obsession of mine! He knows better and won't interrupt me! LOL

Once the episode airs, I'm sure we'll have much to discuss...will bring back plenty of wonderful memories of the good 'ole TLEC days!

Chris Procter said...

Good Morning TLC,

Like the Others theories, I wonder if the 9 groups of others refers to something like 9 steps to enlightenment or the keys in The 4400. It would make sense that the Others all lived and worked together but in a strict hierachical society.

I also thing that whilst they are 'Good' the term is very subjective. I think that it is more likely that they consider themselves good in the same way that TVM considered he was good. In other words they are the good guys because they are saving the world, whatever it takes, the don't mean that they are helping little old ladies across the road, looking after injured animals etc.

Megs:) Love your avatar but each time I see it I have a slight worry that a train is going to come round the bend in the track!

InEnglandAndLost said...

HELLO TLC!!!!

Passafist said...

Okay, I was waiting for Admin's Blessing (and I recieved it) on this and so here it goes!

In Reguards to the TLC PODCAST!!!

Send me your short mp3 comments on this wednesday's episode of lost. Send the comments (or if you can't record mp3's, an e-mail which we may discuss) to passafistwastaken@gmail.com referring to anything about Wednesday's episode, or ongoing discussion in the comments. (I'm not going to set a time limit on audio files but if you can't say it in less than 5 minutes it's probably too much anyway)Please keep your comments PG- rated and I retain any rights to edit comments (for obscene content and to reduce any amount of redundancy)."

I'll be collecting comments until Saturday Morning. It's my hope that the podcast will edited and up on the tuesday before the next the episode. Make your post fun and interesting, cosider this more than just a run of the mill podcast, consider it a way for everybody in the TLC to get to know you. Don't forget to start your comments out with your name......

This is a big test! If this podcast is successful (meaning I get a bunch of comments, and it seems like everybody really is interested in continuing it) I'll probably continue to do it. If not no harm, no foul. WORD UP AND GOD BLESS!! NAMASTE!!

Chris Procter said...

Nice One Passafist,

Inenglandandlost good morning sir, I will ensure that I make no mention of the month between March and May, not even in the podcast, actually now theres a thought....

Ironically we just had someone new start in our HR department here and her name is A****!

Good Morning TLC!

I think I'm going to be smiling all day with anticipation. I am trying to catch up on all the posts I missed and it seems like some think we have only been waiting 3 months. I believe it has been 4. June, July, August, and September. Luckily we had the Experience to help with the time on our hands.

Dark Angel - You watch 'The 4400'? I love that show! I can't complain too much about waiting for Lost since I have to wait 8-9 months for 'the 4400' since it is a summer run show.

Hi All,

Cattygirl - I'm currently working my way through series three of The 4400 as I missed it when it was first aired over here. It is a great series, not as good as Lost or Prison Break but still very enjoyable. I'm just hoping it doesn't get cancelled like Firefly and that we get a good resolution.

The US Networks seem to have a really bad habit of cancelling shows half way through, just like they did with Here and Again :(

JGZ350 - oh yeah I'm ready, 6am GMT I'll be up and trying to download episode 1 :)

Chris Procter said...

Hi Minnesotawriter,

I can't access Myspace from work however I wouldn't put much credibility on anything on Myspace. S3 starts tonight in the US (and Canada?) although there was a preview showing a few days ago in Hawaii.

CattyGirl said...

jgz350 - Great previews! I get chills watching them. 11 hours to go here. :))

minnesotawriter said...

DA - The strange thing about the LOST on MySpace thing, is that the time the countdown reached zero was exactly 9 o'clock Wednesday, my time (Tokyo Time). Maybe their countdown read my PC's clock or something...Oh well, have to wait until the 5th!

RyaNDrumZ said...

GOOD MORNING TLC!!!

I think I'm ging to try and not watch anymore clips or read anymore reviews/links...

Passafist: Hope the podcast is a big hit. I'll try to record something, even if it's not so profound!

Soutpost: I don't know how the chat room will work out for people on the westcoast. I'm sure there will be spoilers galore in there, so I'm not going to go there from 6pm pdt. until the show is over on the westcoast (10pm pdt - 1am est). There probably won't be too many left at that time!

Hey guys: Is there a new LOST special on tonight at 8PM on ABC before the premiere? My TV grid says it's "Dancing With the Stars" at 8pm, but there's a 2 page ad in the LA Times for LOST and THE NINE and it says the night starts with an all new LOST special at 8:00. Anyone?

Good Morning Everyone!

IT'S TODAY...it's today. I can barely contain myself. Also, glad to see the message board back:). Enjoy your days everyone.

maven said...

Roomforhuman: Thanks. It is weird, though. I'm pretty sure ABC wouldn't preempt "Dancing with the Stars" result show for a LOST special. My grid on the TV shows "Dancing" on at 8pm. The TV grid in the paper shows "Dancing" at 8pm. But the 2 page color ad in the first section of the paper says the evening starts off with an "all new" Lost special at 8pm. That wouldn't be a repeat of the recap show from last week. Does anyone else's paper have this ad?

Dennis said...

I’m concerned about the massive amount of spoilers on the site so far, and how this is going to play out in future posts. I wouldn’t want to lose anyone from our community because they are turned-off by all the spoiler talk.

I sent the Admins some suggestions, but since David is MIA, Thrasher suggested that we talk about it here.

Allow Spoilers?

Personally, I am in favor of not allowing spoilers. There is no effective way to mark spoiler text with Blogger, and many people don’t know how (or are too lazy) to mark their spoilers. This makes reading the comments a minefield for those not interested in being spoiled. There are plenty of spoiler sites around if that is what you are interested in.

Another option would be to have two posts for every new episode: the "episode discussion post" with no spoilers, and a "spoiler post" where you can post whatever you want, and not worry about having to mark stuff as spoilers.

What is a spoiler?

• Anything shown on the "previews of next week”"
• Information from other sources regarding information not in the show, such as articles, websites, webisodes, personal friendships with producers, etc.
• If you are posting a published article or just a general discussion about a show/actor/director, and it contains spoilers for anything that may happen in a future episode (If an article or discussion about an actor/director/show that does not give away any plot points, then it is not a "spoiler."

What is not a spoiler?

• Obviously, discussion about the current and previous episodes.
• Speculation about what you think might happen, provided it is based on information in the current or previous episodes, and not other spoiler information.

Technically, TLE would be considered a spoiler under these rules, but I think we could make an exception for this.

BTW, These rules are adapted from the Tivo Community. They have a great show discussion forum that I highly recommend for all other shows (stay here for Lost!). This was my previous home before TLEC. You can see the rules they use here.

FYSB said...

Dennis, I wholeheartedly support this recommendation. Dare I say...it's positively sublymonal. Thanks for opening this discussion.

If it doesn't create too much work for the admins, I like the idea of having a "SpoilerFree" post and a separate "SpoilerFest" post. Everybody wins, and we can keep the community together.

I've definitely missed discussing on this board. I'm in the non-spoiler camp and each time I've popped in this week, the discussion was very spoiler focused, so I just closed my browser and went on.

(of course there is a distinct possibility that the board is quite relieved that I'm NOT posting, but you didn't ask about a FYSB-free board, so we'll just not bring that up....;>)

Scoutpost said...

I think those guidelines are good Dennis. Your idea about two posts, one being strictly for spoilers isn't a bad idea, but I don't know if it would create too much work for the admins or not. I definitely want to be spoiler sensitive on this site, because I'm not one for a lot of spoilers (although I do go for some). JMHO- I think some of the spoiler talk will subside after tonite. Right now we're all like little kids before Christmas, and have nothing else to discuss except spoiler material (not to excuse our behavior-just saying). I think after tonight there will be plenty of episode content to keep us all occupied. And then those that really want to share spoilers can either do it on the other post, or reference it with a link so that no one has scroll down through a lot of spoiler talk. Anyway, just my $.02, I'll abide by whatever rules we decide because I want to be here. We all knew that doing this blog would present with some problems to be worked out, and considering the caliber of people who are contributing to this site, I know we'll find a good solution.

FYSB- a "FYSB-free" site- no way! You have great insight and a killer sense of humor.

Belly- Happy Lost Premier Day to you too! Good to see you again, missed you, but glad you've got some work done. Wouldn't want you to lose your job!

Melissa_Lossa said...

I'm with you, scoutpost - I think people are a little spoiler crazy right now, because that's all there is. A lot of the spoiler talk has come from previews and promos that ABC has released, and there won't be as much of that once the season starts.

Also, awhile back, someone had the idea to only post links to spoilers - that way, those who wanted it could read it, and those who didn't wouldn't have to try to scroll really fast passed them without accidently reading something. I think that's an excellent idea.

Dennis, Scoutpost and FYSB: All your points are great and I agree with everything! (Except I NEVER want a FYSB-free post!) I definitely think we are chomping at the bit and are gleaning onto anything this week to talk about...so a lot of spoilers have gotten in here. I, too, think it will subside with all the new stuff we're going to get each week. I don't know about another Spoiler-Fest Post...there are plenty of other sites that deal with spoilers, and I think it might be double work for the Admins.

Dennis: The definitions that you posted are great...think we should absolutely go by them! Thanks.

Dennis said...

Thanks for the input FYSB, Scoutpost, Maven!

FYSB said...I've definitely missed discussing on this board. I'm in the non-spoiler camp and each time I've popped in this week, the discussion was very spoiler focused, so I just closed my browser and went on.

I've been doing the same thing. I'm glad you saw my post :)

scoutpost said...I think some of the spoiler talk will subside after tonite.

I agree. This post gets a pass because we are still in the "pre-season"

scoutpost said...And then those that really want to share spoilers can either do it on the other post, or reference it with a link so that no one has scroll down through a lot of spoiler talk.

If people want to post spoiler links, it would be helpful to describe why the link is a spoiler, so people can decide if they want to see it or not. i.e.

From the "Previews of next week": LINK
From interview with Hurley about S3 E2: LINK

I personally DO watch the "Previews of next week", so i'm fine with discussing them (with spoiler tags).

Does anyone here NOT watch the "Previews of next week" at the end of each show?

FYSB said...

2 more cents...
My only concern about posting spoiler links is that people will still discuss the spoilers.

I think it would be fine including ABC-approved content (ie, press releases and previews) because if ABC puts it out there, it's probably not going to give out anything they don't want us to know. But I think we should NOT post links or content from spoiler sites or other leaks.

And hi everybody, so good to "see" you all again!

maven said...

Dennis: In agreement re Previews. You can't help but see them if you watch ABC at all this week! I think any ABC promo or ABC preview is fair game here.

Linking other spoilers would be the best way to go. Especially if the link is described first as you suggested. If someone is taking the time to post a link, they can also describe it a little more.

(It's the UK and AUS people that will have the toughest time!)

howdy all!! Who's excitied for tonight. I know I have been giddy as a school kid all day. Can't wait to discuss post show.

re: spoilers:

I too am in the non spoiler crowd. Maybe David should add that to the site posting rules. Spoiler posting must be spoiler fonted or something to that effect.

I guess he could also put up two comment blogs. one for regular discussion and one for spoiler discussion.

That is one thing I like about the fuselage. They are spoiler haters and zap them all the time. I'm sure we will get this figured out.

FYI: ABC just had "Jin and Sun" intro clip we've seen of Sawyer in the cage before "One Life to Live" saying the first few moments will blow your mind away! And then they say to watch LOST tonight!

First time I've seen an LOST actors doing a promo.

Unfortunatly, this blog does not support a "spoiler font".

We do have a "Rachel Blake Font", BUT I DON"T THINK IT WILL HELP WITH SPOILERS! :)

I swear I followed the Blog Commenting 101. What the heck did I do?

This is the article where the author is really over the show:

Sorry! I'll learn one day!

April and Eli said...

Um, sorry again. I guess I should re-post some of my original one for those who didn't see it.

First, to vote about spoilers, I'd like to see a separate section for that somehow. I read a lot of spoilers before the last finale, and they were only about 20% correct. So, I have sworn them off.

But what brought me here is that I found an article on MSNBC called "Why Lost Has Lost Me as a Viewer" (No spoilers, but there a couple of rather vague quotes from the producers.) I just don't get this at all. The author apparently hates everything we love about the show. I was wondering what everyone else thinks about it.

I wonder what obscure song from the 60's we'll have stuck in our heads after this season's premiere?

Okay, I think what we can do is this.

Two Individual Post concerning the most recent Episode. One will be Spoiler Free while the other will be strictly for Spoilers.

I have not run this by David or Belly yet, but I think that this is the best way to proceed. I have not been here since late last week due to the heavy amounts of Spoilers. I am not one to look for them or read them when I come across them accidentally.

Spoiler Free Zone- Current and past episode discussion, theory and speculation on what is to come.

Spoiler's-R-Us - Anything that is fact about upcoming episodes, events, appearances etc.

Does this work?

FYSB said...

Thrasher: Brilliant!

Engineer27: Growing Pains themesong?

April and Eli said...

Spoilers R Us! I like it!

Dennis - I wasn't even trying to make that text the title of the link. My title text didn't even show in the post I deleted. Wish I could just blame it all on computer problems instead of my lack of programming skills. I can make italic text, just not links. :)

engineer27 said...

fysb -- with most of the Dharma stuff being 1980 and before, Growing Pains may be a bit late --
But here's something I dug up while fishing for something witty: Did you know that Jimi Hendrix once opened for The Monkees?

I'd like to hear a mash-up of that!

thrash, i think its a good idea. but right now, we might be able to use a lag alleviation.

Hey Monday Lad!
My nom de blog was a bit cumbersome, wasn't it? I've made it so much more user-friendly.

So next time I say something like "We Built this City on Rock and Roll", I've saved you 79% of the keystrokes needed to say "Fastenyourseatbelts, stop putting that horrible song in my head!"

You're welcome.

and engineer27, i actually read something that cited Ludwig Boltzmann and thought "hey, I've heard of him!"

engineer27 said...

jgz350: I like that, but not as obscure as the Mama Cass song from last year.

I'm thinking more like "Sunday Morning" or "All Tomorrow's Parties" -- Velvet Underground

on second thought, great songs but probably not catchy enough. L&C will want it to stick in our heads at least until February.

engineer27 said...

Long Live Ludwig!

April and Eli said...

This isn't from the 60's, but how about Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple? That would reference Smoky, the water surrounding the island, and the purple flash of light all at once.

Though engineer27 is right, it needs to last until Feb. Maybe they could play Who Let the Dogs Out, and we could talk about Vincent for the off weeks while it's stuck in our heads.

I don't get it either. What does he want? All of the answers to ALL of the island's mysteries? Maybe if he played TLE, he would know the answer to the numbers :)

LOST POLL ON MSNBC

Will you tune in to 'Lost' this season?

They are missing the option:

• Yes, I will watch each episode several times, then go to TLC and discuss it too!

Thanks Thrasher! Sounds good to me. If it doesn't work for this first episode, we can always try something else.

Since you'll cheat and get first post anyways, why don't you post some spoiler rules as the first post. :)

Well...I'm outta here... see you all after the show!!! HAPPY LOST DAY!

engineer27 said...

lifeOBS:

The DP song could qualify, since it's before 1980 (the date of the Swan orientation film). I like the smoke monster reference, the possible underwater station, and the fire in the sky. Wow.

The Vincent thing ... ROFL.

Wish I was feeling half that witty today.

Happy Lost Day everyone!

Thrasher: As long as it isn't too much work, then I vote for the two post areas, one for spoilers and one not. But if that becomes too much, then one spoiler free zone that is fiercely moderated (links are fine, discussion is not) would be the only alternative I see.

Songs I'd Like to Have Stuck in My Head from Lost Season 3....

1) Ozzy Osbourne's "Mr. Crowley". I doubt it will happen though....during the 3rd season
1a) As an Ozzy alternative "Crazy Plane" er, I mean, "Crazy Train" would do nicely

2) Michael Buble's "Home", probably is to new for Lost to use, but the lyrics sound as if they were written specifically for Lost.

Thrasher76 That works for me as long as it's not to much work for you guys. Cause I don't mine scrolling past spoilers if I'm warned.

LifeObstacle I know I can never understand people who can't get into the mystery and the mythology of the show. I mean for me that's what I wait for every week I like more mysteries and am in no big hurry for instant answers. I like learning about the different characters especially the secrets in thier past and how that may or may not relate to their interaction with each other but that's not the main draw for me.

Sorry this is coming in a little late but it didn't post the first time for some reason

Twinkle said...

Hey, everybody! Long time no post! I've been on a blog vacation. I used w00t today in an e-mail. Just one more way TLE has changed me. I missed you guys and GALS! ;-)

Thrasher: The two posts idea - Can I check that I have your idea straight? By spoilers you mean information like from spoilerfix.com, but not details and information about the episode itself, right? An episode's post will be marked with the episode number, name, and the air date of the country it aired in so those from another country or who haven't seen the episode yet know to enter at their own risk. When an episode that aired in the US airs in Aus, then it will get a new post with a new air date, right? Are you thinking of creating two posts for every episode so that one is spoiler free and one isn't? Or is it just two posts for this first episode?

Personally, I think anything about a future episode like the stuff that spoilerfix.com posts doesn't belong on TLC. There are other places to talk about that. Otherwise maybe a section of the message board would work? I haven't read above to see how many want to discuss spoilers, so no offense if I'm going against the general consensus. The admins could also choose to create a new post if TV guide or EW comes out with a Lost article that contains spoilers so people would know to go there if they wanted to discuss them. Otherwise I think two posts for every episode would become unwieldy.
