«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 242 of 242Yeah Dennis I do get that feeling sometimes as well, but I just can't figure out which way the coin drops... lol
All kidding aside, it would be impossible to attribute every idea to someone in the blog, and it sounds like they don't usually have much time to do the Podcast, let alone read everyone's posts.
That's our job... to read all the posts, and leave insightful comments on the listener line at 732-564-4763 or by sending an e-mail to TLCPodcast@gmail.com.
:)
dedjezter, I have to disagree with you on the birthday thing.... If you are under one year old, you get a birthday every month:) Now, go apologize to your kitty and make things right! LOL!
I think the TLC podcast is a reflection of the open-mindedness, intelligence and good taste we have here on this board, hence the similarities..
That's a great list, melissa! How about Locke?
I want to complement Steve and Goog on this week's podcast. Keeping it under an hour definitely works for me. I also prefer it when they just talk about things that stood out in the episode or that people are talking about rather than trying to recap. There are plenty of recaps out there if you want one.
Also I think the podcast probably reaches more people than the blog does unless there's some way to measure "pearlers."
I agree that David and "The Goog" are doing a great job.
I listened to two other podcasts recently, and I didn't like them nearly as much.
But, I think a nice, 1 minute recap would be good. Like the one ABC radio does every wednesday.
BTW, Here is the latest Get Lost with ABC for D.O.C., featuring Yunjin Kim
codysmom - I think we may get an answer on Locke tonight. He's either going to discover that he's not the pushover that his father always made him feel like, OR he's going to discover that he's not the adventurer that he likes to portray himself as.
Basially, I think it will come down to whether Locke is the manipulator, or the manipulatee.
Does anyone think Sawyer will actually kill Cooper for Locke?
I don't think he will. I think the old Sawyer would have done it in a heartbeat, but not now.
I think he might.
He shot the Marshall, and the guy that he thought was the Real Sawyer. Plus he's shot at a few Other here and there in the jungle.
If it turns out that Cooper really is the Real Sawyer, then yeah, he'll do it. The only thing is, he doesn't like to be told what to do...
Dennis said...
I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but doesn't the "wok" in Jin's father's house look a lot like the security fence pylon?
Yes, it does, dennis.... wow, how'd you notice that?
I can't imagine Sawyer "killing" for Locke. I think he has changed (and he has real love in his life, now).
Yeah, he shot the marshall to put him out of his misery, and I think the Sawyer who killed that man in Australia and the Sawyer who gave Claire the blanket are two very different people.
I'm off to the gym - see you all tonight!
I don't think Sawyer would do it for Locke. As Dennis said, "Don't tell what to do," and variations thereof. Sawyer had second thoughts about killing the "real Sawyer" in Australia and had to be drunk and have a Christian Shephard pep talk to do it. He shot the Marshal for Kate and to earn his hard-a## reputation among the survivors. Shooting fish in a barrel isn't a very satisfactory revenge. Plus, does he have the letter on him?
Hey all!! It's been a few hasn't it??
Well I am going to totally walk from this show if they are dead and in PURGATORY, AKA Gary Troup!! Maybe this entire show is in Gary's head as he dreams away the flight on 815, then the crash and the show is over!!
C'mon TPTB!! (hey, I haven't b*tched to them in almost a year!!! Nice!)
I hope that tonight is a sweet epi! I'm liking the fact that Locke is back and needs Sawyers help to kill Benry! I will always call him that.
On aside...Josh plays a bad guy in the new PC/Xbox 360 game Command and Conquer 3, pity my PC is too limited to play it and I don't have a 360...anyone want to start a collection like we did for Lena's high speed??? LOL
namecilopdrihteht
hang me, spank me, make me ride a bicycle till my butt turns into leather, but please dont throw me into the barricks.
round and round....and round
FWIW, I do not believe the losties are in purgatory, this is worse than purgatory.
"Patchy seemed to say that Sayid, Kate, Locke and Danielle aren't on it either, but then why is Locke still with the Others?"
Actually, Patchy implied that Sayid, Kate, and Rousseau weren't on the List, but then turned to Locke and said, "But you, John Locke, I have a fleeting memory of" and was able to say he was paralyzed before Rousseau cut him off.
Locke was definitely on the list, in my mind.
Oh, and if Cooper dies, does that mean both Sawyer and Locke die too since their storylines are resolved?
Darkaardvark, I think if Locke and Sawyer died, LOST would lose about 2/3rds of its viewers.
OT: The Field is Set!
WOW! What a great experience with no WVs! Yea! Thanks to Dennis and Admin.
Re the discussion of Jack's and Locke's loyalties: I think that both of them have a long term plan and it's just playing out, and we're going to be really surprised in the end. Sometimes things aren't what they seem...
LOL Maven. When on LOST is anything it does seem to be?
In response to Dennis's OT post, I cannot believe it's the first weekend of May! That means it's less than 2 weeks until Mother's Day. Is it wrong to want a Hurley action figure for Mother's Day?
How can it be wrong, if it feels so right?
Memphish: I couldn't think of anything better! (I got the Hatch for my bday!)
Ah Dennis thank you for the Derby info. My latest dilemma- on Saturday do I celebrate Derby day or Cinco de Mayo?! Guess I'll celebrate both!
I'm on the side of Sawyer killing Cooper provided he can get past the idea of Locke telling him what to do. But who knows.... I could actually respond to something you said memphish, but it would be spoiler. I have stayed away from spoilers mostly but it got to the point where you may hear some benign statement from one person and another benign statement from another person and all of a sudden, you know something you wish you didn't. Oh well. The suspense is killing me...still 5 hours to go here in MST.
Funny Scoutpost. I just clicked on my Comcast TV link to see if the Braves were on in HD pre-LOST and there was a big list of LOST stuff. I quickly put my hand over that part of the screen and clicked listings. :)
Gosh, I still have SIX hours to go! :( I still can't believe I'm the ONLY west coaster who is here regularly! In the whole PDT time-zone, I'm the only one?
I know, at this point you have to even be careful about listening to too many interviews. That's what happened to me- I would listen or read something Michael Emerson would say and then hear something from Josh Holloway or Evie Lilly, etc. - not being a big deal hearing them solely, but when you hear it all together it becomes one big spoiler. So now I'm being really careful and will go back after the finale, etc. and catch up on interviews and articles.
I know Maven, I can't believe there aren't more of us out here. I think it's just me and diggity (I think it's diggity) who are in MST. Maybe we should start recruiting people...a la the Others.
This is NOT spoilery from the podcast the producers gave today (posted on the tailsection and DarkUFO): Very likely Lost will change time slot!
Maven,
Before this season ends, or beginning next season?
Do you have a link to the interview? I don't like wandering around those places...you never know what kind of spoiler will be waiting to jump out and get you :)
(Is it the the "Preston and Steve" interview from WMMR that TBM posted earlier?)
Dennis: Yes, it's the "Preston & Steve" interview. I'm assuming they mean next season.
BTW: I didn't listen to the podcast. Just read the highlights posted by DocArtz over at The Tailsection.
P&S are hilarious!! They are my Philly hommies!!! LOL
2 hours until game time!! Well, Lost anyway...
Do you guys want the new post???
Hey, Thrasher! How's it going?
Thanks for the link Dennis, Queen Liz will be attending the Derby as part of her US tour this month. Wish I could go.
Ded, I think that our podcast originally included some recaps from our TLC blog, or at least comments that the guys make about some things that they liked. Kind of the same as us calling in or sending them emails with our comments. That's what made it "ours", or rather, what puts our TLC stamp on it. :o)
Maven: what will the time slot change be. I am with Dennis, THIS close to the show and I have managed to not get spoiled, I can't go poking around;).
Capcom: I would also like to add in "defense" of David and the Goog that by the time they record the podcast, I think just about every idea/theory has been discussed about the episode! (And it does go out to other people besides us LoCos.)
PS...I *heart* no WV!!!!!!!
BTW, there is a NEW POST!!!
Thrasher tried to cheat and get first, but I beat him to it ;)
thanks for the interview line, TBM. That wasn't tooo spoilery, but just enough. Nothin' I hadn't already heard.
Ded, I think the podcasts are great, and I think that they do try to be spontaneous when they record it. But, like Codysmom said, we are all on the same wavelength, so there are times when we all come up with the same thing, even the same wording.
