Everyone is over at The LOST ARGs, so I'm FIRST!
Hi Memphish! And Happy Birthday Amused2BeHere!
Early Happy Birthday Memphish,I'll be working all day tomorrow.
Thanks Takes a Village! One weird thing about a Xmas break birthday is the idea that you are expected to work on it. That never happens when you're on school. Lucky for me I'm on vacation, so I'm going canoeing on my birthday, then out to dinner.
Happy Birthday Memphish!!
Happy birthday, memphish!

Happy Birthday to Melissa again wished you one at the ARG blog and Happy Birthday to Cattygirl and a belated one to Sue.
Hey all! So while watching the Season 4 DVD, I started having a few thoughts. I don't know if anybody's said anything like this before, and if I'm just restating the stated, I apologize.
But I kinda wanted to throw my thoughts on some stuff I saw in Season 4.
The first of which, is the numbers. There are six numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42). These numbers seem to pop up everywhere; on the hatch, the Oceanic flight number (815), the jerseys on the soccer players in the Sydney Airport, the miles on Hurley's car after he got back, the lottery numbers....they're ALL OVER the place. Now, as well there are six people in the Oceanic Six. This is probably just a coincidence, but what if these six people, correlating with the numbers, can somehow change fate without things course-correcting? Is that why they can go back to the island, because they are somehow able to defy fate and break the rules?
In addition, Hurley seems to have a special connection to the numbers. he can also see people that "aren't there" and he can see Jacob's Cabin. What if these people who "aren't there" really are. They aren't dead or spirits or anything....I mean, the other guy at the asylum saw Charlie, too. But maybe Hurley just has some sort of influence over the people like Charlie or the Cabin.
I don't know...this isn't really formulated and it's not worded very well....but I think you all get the point. *Smiley*
As with sayid'sgirl, I've been over at lostargs, so it seems I owe some belated Birthday wishes to Melissa_lossa and CattyGirl, and Sue (hey, I remember you, Ular97!!) Hope you all had a great day and best wishes all year long!
The Roog, I've also had some similar thoughts about the numbers ... I'd love to see you develop your thoughts even more!
In my version, the numbers have something to do with the year; like maybe the number of years in the past (keeping 2004 as the base date when they "crashed") that an event in their lives defied fate or course correction. (It could be the opposite, too... the number of years ago that an event in their life went wrong and needs the course corrected.) I don't know, but it's fun to think about!
Thanks for all of the birthday wishes! I'm still waiting for one of my birthday presents to arrive - Season 4 on blu-ray! :)
Here's a present for all of you - head on over to Spoiler Fixed for two spoiler-free reviews of the first two episodes - one by TV Guide, and one by our pal Doc Jensen.
This week's installment comes complete with eye candy. Enjoy!
Interesting theory ont he nubmers/people, Roog! Wayne has had a similar theory that the main Losties are the variables in the Valenzetti Equation somehow and your theory would fit right in there.
Happy late Bday Melissa, and thanks for your work on Spoilerfixed!
What's Up Losties!
Been a long time. Thought I would drop in and say hi. Can't wait for the new season to start and the stimulating discussions that will ensue.
Anyway, heading back to work but will see you all in a few weeks.
TTFN
Well I haven't been over here in a while. I love the idea that the main Losties or especially the O6 are the variables in the Valenzetti Equation! I don't really know how to expound on that but that is a cool theory!
Yes, and I really think that Roog's point about changing fate without course-correcting is a very important one. Because that's one of the things that don't add up...some things can be changed and some things can't...so there needs to be a situation where this would apply specifically and Roog's idea is great!
I have been slowly watching all the episodes leading up to the new season. my way of not spoiling myself. I just watched greatest hits. Is there any significance to aaron not getting charlies DS ring. after watching it this time and knowing whats coming next i felt like they left it behind for a reason.
Happy LOST Day!!
Finally. All though I guess it's not official until next week. I'm too excited to wait.
So, are we back over here?
Also, is there a way to subscribe to the posts over here on google reader in addition to the posts? I know some of the blogs I'm subscribed to have that option, but I'm not seeing it over here.
(It's entirely possible that I've just overlooked it.)

Dennis said he was going to make a new post for the enhanced finale tonight.
As far I as your google reader question I don't know, but I'm sure someone here does.
I've been wondering that for a long time too Bigdog. I'm resigning myself now, to believe that the fate of the ring is one of those many things that TPTB have left open-ended and will never get resolved of revisited again. :-(
