October Days: My son(19, Mr.Baseball) says that the first day (Oct 20) was the last game of the American League Championships (Pennant), the day the Red Sox beat the Yankees to win the Pennant. The World Series started on the 23rd (Sat) and the Red Sox went on to win 4 in a row from the Cardinals. So I guess those 4 days crossed off in yellow represent a very dark time for Yankee fans...of course for diehard Mets fans (like my son) it was party time!
Maybe the doc is a Mets fan?
Zort, the lack of communication has been a big bugger with me for a while now, it's too much like daytime soap operas, they do it there all the time.
Also, you're right about the landmark moment. And also don't count Des circling the snowglobe either, cuz we didn't get to see that.

Can we tell from Minkowski's comments whether or not he and Brandon got near the Island before or after Dan left the freighter? Is it the case that Dan recognized what was happening to George and Brandon and tried to explain it to Dr. Ray who wasn't buying it? Were tripping George and Brandon kept away from the FF? Or did they not go to the Island until after the FF took off for it?
And does Frank know more than he's letting on? Is George's tripping why he tells Dan to hang up if George answers? Why wouldn't he want Dan to help George?
Good Qs Memphish. And I kind of get the feeling that Frank knows a little about each side, possibly because he has no ties to either. He might be the kind of character that has knowledge of, and plays off of, both sides and then plays dumb. But possibly for the Lostie's luck, Frank's dual knowledge (and maybe his good-guy heart, if he is a good guy) might benefit them as well.

My guess is they went towards the island before Dan did. Doc Ray was adamant about not letting Desmond talk to Dan saying he couldn't even help himself.
I'm thinking he may have tried to help Minkowski and Doc Ray threw him out.
Not sure why Frank wouldn't want Dan to talk to Minkowski on the phone other than he thought he was crazy and wouldn't be of any help. Or maybe Frank didn't want Dan to get distracted.

i remember minkowski talked on the sat phone a couple of times, but it a good question why frank seems to be in the know and said to hang up on him. cant wait to see this hatch from the next time on lost scenes that you guys mentioned charlotte is willing to die for. Was i right about the inference that sayid is some kind of international agent after he leaves iraq. Ive always said he was brought to the island to replace mikhail and the way he rigged that phone for desmond sure seems to show hes qualified, or how he back wired the pearls cameras...
Capcom - Was it you asking about Andromeda? I'd recommend it. Sort of a cross between Star Trek and Firefly. Only with a female Data.

Of course it may not have been exactly what I thought it was because I didn't really read it.
Basically I don't want to know who's in an episode who they're playing or how many episodes they're in or the names of those episodes that haven't aired yet.

Sayid's Girl, I don't mind all movies based on books, but in general I prefer the books and try to read them before I see the movie. I recently read and then saw Atonement for example. But in general, I'm more of a book than a movie person. I like TV better than movies too. I like having more time for more characters and more character development.
2Costa and anyone else consulting IMDB, you should realize it has a lot of user created content and especially for forward looking info. is often considered the Inaccurate Movie Database.
