I apologize that the book club has been so disorganized this time around. I know that David has had some personal things going on, and my life/job has been something of a personal trial this year. I'm hoping we can get back on track this fall, and I hope that you can all forgive me for keeping you waiting! You all have become a part of my extended family over the years, and I hate to let you down so.
No worries mate! We had the ARG to keep us busy there for a while, so that's OK. We were taking and making so many tests, who had time to read?! :-D
On the other hand, I (we) hope that everything gets back to normal for both you and David soon. XO
You guys do a great job. I always enjoy the podcast even when I have wimped out and not read the book. As has happened this time.
I'll get started on Survivors of the Chancellor now so that maybe I'll have something useful to contribute next time.

Quickly pausing I caught a picture of bearded Jack with the words Dharma Initiative written across it. And it looks like the new Dharma logo but not sure.

It's very hard to stay away from this trailer if you consider them spoilers! We're so hard up for LOST stuff now! And this trailer can definitely start some great discussions and speculations!

Me too!! WE are so hard up for stuff that any little bit sends me through the roof. I was so excited and wish we could talk about it. Not to mention, I just would like the stimulation of having something LOST related to talk about since the ARG gave us virtually nothing. Do you guys know what is going on at LostARGS? When I posted a comment yesterday it said it had to go to approval of the blog owner before being posted. But as of this morning, it still hasn't been posted (not that it was important)- just didn't know why the comments were being intercepted first. Or maybe it's just that there's nothing left to say over there, guess we've pretty much talked all we can about the DI and Hans at this point.

I put the new s5 trailer promo on the front page of Black Swan myspace and also that flashed pic of Jack with the you-know-what logo.. lol
I would like a place other than darkufo to discuss this promo too!!!!
I'm working on a black swan blog where we could discuss it on myspace, but this is better.. I think this needs to be discussed especially how it relates to the ARG.
LostArgs seems to be dead at the moment! I tried to post the link to the trailer there and it's still pending!

I haven't tried to post anything at Lostargs but thought it was odd that no one had posted anything all day yesterday and now today.
So I came over here last night and woo hoo there was a promo posted thanks again maven.
And yes I vote I think we should discuss the promo here.
I vote for talking about the promo (I'm semi-spoilery), but maybe we could start a new post on the frontpage to talka bout it and warn people that we're talking promo spoilers and speculation?

Promos are one of the few things I don't consider spoilers. But I know alot of people do.

Lost2010: It could be taken as spoilery...but you're sure to run into it if you watch ABC when they start showing it. I think it just lends itself to some great potential discussions. And, of course, like any promo, everything is out of context.
Ok. I watched it. Uhm, so I guess maybe I'll be back in Season 6 to find out the answers to the mysteries.

The trouble with posting over at Dark's is that occasionally other spoilers pop up in the discussion.
Oh here you all are! I was wondering why no comments have been coming to my e-mail from the ARG site. I'll go have a look at the admin settings over there and see what's up. It is an even 300 comments, I wonder if there is a limit set.
Thanks for posting the link. I'm going to go watch the promo now, I have been avoiding it since I saw it on JO's blog, but today I definitely need something to perk me up and be positive!

FYI: Comments on The Lost ARGs are fixed. It was set to approve comments on posts older than 14 days. Usually that would b e a moot point but since NOTHING has happened to call for a new post in the last 14 days, it kicked in. So there you have it.

Well Maven, since you asked...I think that one of the admins here should make a post just for the promo. That way those that want to avoid spoilers, if they consider it that, can.
The Lost ARGs is really meant to be for the games and not to deter from the community here. That's my two cents.
Ange: Isn't this TLC blog? Everything here related to discussion of the show? I know the other blog, LostArgs, is for whatever DWY is. I gather you're not an Admin here at TLC. Should we email Dennis?

I apologize if I came across negatively. I sincerely meant 'have fun rehashing the promo'.
Naw, it's just the same thing we bang around about every season. You get irritated at the lack of finality where other people (myself, for example) see situations rife with opportunity for surprise.
If you were saying that you're excusing yourself from all of Season 5 because it looks like (from this very brief promo) you won't get the answers you're looking for, then that's what I'm talking about re: negativity.
The best part of an Ice Cream Drumstick isn't until the very end. But getting there is awfully satisfying too.
That, also, wasn't what I meant. But I can see how I worded it badly. I didn't watch the entire promo actually because it was a bit more spoilery than I thought it would be - I was tongue in cheek saying that it had revealed the entire plot for Season 5 but I was kidding - obviously it doesn't. Sorry for the poor wording choices.
