First! Gonna listen shortly, and congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Goog! Thanks for sharing the wedding pics.
Hi Maven!..everybody!
Checking in for podcast.
xxoo
Maven, noticed your recent pics of Elizabeth! Such a cutie...
xxoo
Ellen: Hi! Thanks for checking out the pics! They grow so fast, don't they? I had a great time babysitting!
ooo babysitting! how cool...and yes, they just grow way too fast!
BTW, I started a "LOST" quilt!!!
I'll post some pics when I can.
xxoo
Wow, you're actually doing it? Great. I've been thinking about it for years!
I know what you mean! It's taken me this long to really get an idea that I could "run" with! I decided that I would use the Dharma Logos as centers and build "log cabins" around them...hope it looks as good for real as it does in my mind, don't know. Guess we'll see, huh? (*grin*)
xxoo
Hi! Posting for e-mails. Since blogger got blocked at work I have been unable to participate but begin able to follow along with e-mail is great. That's all I have to add.
Congratulations!
Has anyone listened to the new OLP?
memphish
I just went to listen to it. To me it wasn't really spoilerly.
They mentioned the Orchid Video. Said someone had an interesting theroy on time travel.
Walt is asked about.
Someone asks by name if anyone other than Michael is being protected by the island. They give a yes or no answer to this.
I'm trying to give you an idea of what's in it without saying to much.
But to me it was safe to listen to.
I see they're replaying "Cabin Fever" tonight at 8pm to 10pm. Does anyone know if it's "enhanced"? It's opposite the American Idol finale...good luck! LOL
Listening now...
They rehash pt 1 of the finale, prehash pt 2, most of it is stuff we already know or can guess, but there is a fan theory that is confirmed toward the end (around 20:15) that I would consider a bit spoilerish. Skip to 21:55. They talk about the upcoming hiatus, and then they go on to talk about the Emmys, how episodes are picked for Emmy review, etc.
oops, Sayid'sgirl beat me to it!
They do talk about who we might see in the finale, so if you are avoiding casting announcements you should skip the prehash of finale part 2.
Of course they could be lying...
I listened to OLP...I felt comfortable listening. They're very vague and cryptic as to who we're going to see and when, but they're so funny.
BTW: They're pairing "Cabin Fever" with "Something Nice Back Home" tonight. Can't find anything about it being enhanced.
I love that they are playing all 3 parts of the finale together on the 29th. Get your popcorn ready in advance!
Now, if only I could get my DS7 to go to bed by 7:55 that night...
Anyone from here going to the party in KY with gspn's Cliff and Stephanie Ravenscraft? They are hosting it in a store that has hdtvs and couches to showcase home theatre setups, all tvs will be showing Lost, there will be snacks, etc. Sounds like a blast!
Interesting LoCo podcast. An interesting theory they mention is what if the moving of the Island is the actual cause of the tsunami of 2004?
verrry interesting...
maven
I think they're showing part one again because they're going to show a few more questions in the press conference that they didn't show the first time.
Thanks for the info. on the OLP everyone. I think I'll hold it and wait to listen after next Thursday evening. Did they say if they are planning to podcast after the episode or are they entering radio silence again?
The official ABC press release about tonight's episodes does not mention enhancement.
A2BH, if you figure out a way to clear 3 hours for LOST be sure to share. We'll be out of town and I'm trying to figure out how to sell the idea to the Hubby and Kid that they should go out to dinner for 3 hours without me that night. ;D
Memphish: Darlton said radio silence after this podcast, until ComiCon this July.
And dinner out (maybe a movie thrown in, that Panda movie looks good) sounds like a plan to me!
My older son (DearSon19)and hubby are Lost fans, so it's only the little one that we have to make arrangements for.
It's a good thing we don't have 'suspended animation' available to us. Human civilization would be wiped out in a generation; there would be only children put "on hold" and very old people who had put them there and now were too old to raise them.
There's a movie plot in there somewhere.....
Sayid'sgirl: I know about re-playing Part I tomorrow, but there's "Cabin Fever" and "SNBH" on TONIGHT starting at 8PM! Opposite American Idol finale!
I was just about to say that I doubted I could round up 3 consecutive hours to watch Lost - but I see I'm not the only one.
I'll be lucky to swing 2.
Congratulations Steve & Karen,
Happy Olde Lost Day.
maven
I'm sorry I misunderstood you. Tonight huh.
That's weird ABC has't promoed that any this week. I guess because of all the finales. I haven't been home most of the day so I haven't seen if they've promoed today or not.
Sayid'sgirl: NP
FYI: Nikki Stafford has posted about J.J. Abram's new show on Fox -- "Fringe". I think there's hope for us LoCos after 2010 if this is a hit.
Aw, it just shows that TPTB love us and want us to have a Lost fix this week anyway....gee, I feel so special!
ooo enhanced popups!!
(Hi everybody!)
xxoo
anyone else on tonight? anyone watching? (I know, I know, dumb question!)
xxoo
Ellen: So tonight's reruns have enhancement? Guess I'll be DVRing them!
Hi Maven! Glad to see you...
yes! but so far no new insights...
My hubby loves the popups, i guess they help him understand more of what's happening, but we obsessed, hard-core fans may find them disappointing I'm afraid. Oh well, LOST is Lost no matter!
xxoo
Well, it was interesting that the pop-p said that Abaddon was working for Widmore.
And it was so great hearing Michael Emerson say that line again: Destiny is a fickle bitch!
Happy Lost D.......oh bug**r
Ah well a week of anticipation will do us good, we are getting used to these breaks between episodes ! I've also got a break in the current run of Doctor Who, it's making way for the tack fest that is the Eurovision Song Contest.
In two weeks time there will be a Lost shaped hole for the rest of the year. Although it might take us that long to dissect the last two episodes !
Transcripts are up at Lostpedia for the pop ups last night. Cabin Fever
Here's one I have a question about from Cabin Fever:
The sickness the captain speaks of was caused by the freighter's close proximity to the island. Why are people near the Island getting sick, but people ON the Island not?
This is also interesting:
That sound is the Morse Code Faraday sent from the island two days ago. The delay of the message would indicate that the radio waves are not traveling on the correct bearing with which Faraday calibrated the satellite phones.
Similarly:
The doctor's body washed up on the beach with a slashed throat in this season's episode "The Shape of Things to Come." It would seem the doctor's body did not float to the island's shore at the correct bearing.
Way to go Maven and others who speculated that Dr. Ray went through the barrier at a bearing that made the stiches on his face fresh. I don't understand why that doesn't undo his throat slashing though. How can 1 part of your body change, but not another?
I forgot to link to the transcript for Something Nice Back Home. It wasn't as interesting. The only thing out of it I found noteworthy was that it states that Widmore hired the mercenaries to kill everyone on the Island but Ben.

Very good question, Memphish. Kind of makes you wonder about Danielle's story of how she and her crew ended up on the island...she said that she had to kill them because they became sick on the island after they landed, but after reading the popups, seems like her story may be untrue, huh?
Perhaps they experienced the "sickness" before they wrecked, and perhaps she killed them in her delerium (sp?) before she set foot on land?
xxoo
Nicoleslost posted an article with news and trailer on the new J.J. TV series, it looks fascinating. Thanks J.J. for giving us something to watch till the new LOST season starts. :-)
